About the Ontario G1 knowledge test

To get your G1 licence in Ontario, you need to be at least 16, pass a vision test and pass a knowledge test at a DriveTest centre. The test checks that you know the rules of the road and can read road signs. The practice tests on this page follow the same two sections, and every answer comes with a short explanation from the Official MTO Driver's Handbook.
