To start learning to ride in Manitoba, you need a valid Manitoba driver's licence and you must pass MPI's Class 6 knowledge test: a supplementary test on the safe operation of a motorcycle. It isn't open book, and you have 30 minutes. The full practice test on this page is 25 motorcycle questions, and every answer comes with a short explanation from MPI's Motorcycle Handbook. Manitoba's road sign questions are here too, as a refresher.

MPI calls it a supplementary knowledge test on the safe operation of a motorcycle. It's for people who already hold a Manitoba driver's licence, so it's about riding, not the road signs you were tested on for your first licence. It isn't open book, and you have 30 minutes.
MPI doesn't publish the number of questions or the pass mark. Our practice tests have 25 motorcycle questions with 20 correct to pass (80%).
$12 for the knowledge test and $35 for the road test. If you're in GDL and fail the knowledge test, you wait seven days to retake it; after a failed road test, you wait 14 days.
