To ride a motorcycle as a learner in Saskatchewan you need a 6 Endorsement on your Class 5 (or higher) licence. SGI tests you with three knowledge exams, each needing 80%: a basic knowledge exam and a signs exam from the Saskatchewan Driver's Handbook, and a motorcycle knowledge exam from the Saskatchewan Motorcycle Driver's Handbook. The practice tests on this page cover the motorcycle knowledge and signs exams, with every answer explained. For the basic knowledge exam, use the rules test on our main Saskatchewan page.

A basic knowledge exam and a signs exam, both from the Saskatchewan Driver's Handbook, a motorcycle knowledge exam from the Motorcycle Driver's Handbook, and a vision test. Then you take SGI-approved motorcycle training or a basic ability road test before you can ride as a learner.
80% on each of the basic, signs and motorcycle knowledge exams. Each attempt costs $25, and if you fail you can try again as early as the next day.
SGI doesn't publish the number. Our motorcycle knowledge practice tests have 20 questions with 16 correct to pass (80%), and the signs practice tests have 30 with 24 to pass, the same as for a car learner.
Anyone 16 or older who already holds a Class 5 or higher driver's licence. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must sign the approval form. Every first-time rider goes through the MGDL program, whatever their age.
